New this Issue:

Welcome to our last issue of 2009 and our first issue of 2010, Embracement. It seems such a short time ago that I remarked, "we have so much time before 2012 arrives." Now, it's just around the corner, just a few heartbeats away. The air and everything around us carries the energy of our growing anticipation, excitement and even some anxiety.

Scientists have said that our bodies, physiologically, will respond exactly the same if we are to loose our best friend or win the lottery. As we become more aware of the energy building in our world, let's take a look at this scientific statement.

If my body is responding in the same manner, in both situations, then is it my mind that determines and labels what I am experiencing? Not a new concept, but one to be conscious of as we continue through our evolution.

Settle into your heart when you are feeling anxiety or fear and ask, "Am I really experiencing anxiety or fear? Is it excitement or joy? Am I just using my old references to "label this sensation?" I've found more times than not, it is the bubbling up of the love, joy and excitement that I maybe holding back.

Let your hearts sing, let your spirit rise, set your potential free. The world is an ever-changing organism that welcomes us with open arms. Listen for this message and welcome yourselves and each other with the same openness. In this, we will create the miracle of life?Embracement.

Time seems to be flying; there is so much happening in shorter periods of time. Changes are rapidly happening for people, even if things seem to be the same. This is a challenging time for some, definitely exciting for those who have consciously chosen to "be human." We are all in this together, our words, thoughts and feelings, are becoming more expansive. Take the time to be with yourself and find your truest expression as you share all that you are.

We were gifted recently, through Skye Hirst, a connection with two women from Connecticut, Elmira and Mary. Life friends who came together to create Harmony House, a once very active retreat center, they have recently celebrated; Elmira her 100th and Mary her 102nd, birthdays. Things in their lives have slowed a bit but they both still enjoy their visitors and with help continue to receive them with open hearts and arms.

Elmira relayed to me that one of her younger relatives calls frequently from France. She recently told her to spread the letters TKOS to everyone she talks with.

I remember when I started talking about "spirituality" with my family, how they looked at me as if I had three heads. This young woman has come up with, a phrase to describe what we all talk about. THAT KIND OF STUFF!

As I was leaving, sharing a hug with Elmira, she said she was excited to tell her relative that she TKOS'd with us right away and didn't have to go through the preliminary pleasantries.

I truly enjoyed my time with her; it was exciting, fun and generated a complete feeling of hope as she shared her heart perspectives with us. What a wonderful way to live your life, talking about what is most important from your heart. Be well Elmire and Mary and welcome to our Inner Tapestry family.

We have also welcomed additional practitioners and schools for training, to the Directory of Resources. There are also many opportunities to receive support through the holidays to relax, refresh and renew for the up coming new year.

It has been an exciting time to experience the expansion of the journal through the Shaw's locations in southern Maine. We are also being received with open hearts in CT through the many practitioners belonging to NESHA who are distributing journals at their locations. Our distribution has increased with the last two issues and we look forward to our connection with practitioners, readers and those who choose to advertise.

There is a unique opportunity to experience the vibrational healing resonance of a gong bath. Yes, those very large round spheres. There are not many gong players in our area that have come together as Stephanie, Deb and Joy have.

They all reside in southern New England and are regularly sharing themselves and their healing gongs in the Rhode Island area. In February, we will have the opportunity to experience this wonderfully peaceful inner-self exploration with them. Welcome to Maine Resonant Voices!

I was approached by many of our readers with a special event that I covered in our last newsletter, as we had already gone to print, about 350.org. On October 24th people around the world brought forth the awareness of the amount of carbon in our atmosphere. The safe level, yes you guessed, is 350 parts per million. We are now at 385. Since we were not able to publish the date I've included pictures on page 27 of the event around the world. I know many participated locally but check out the website for all the recently updated photos they are still coming in, and really cool.

We would also like to extend to Ted Andrew's, author of Animal Speaks, family and all of his friends and colleges our sympathy as well as our feelings of celebration to him. Many are feeling the loss of his spirit in physical form.

Thank you all for being such a wonderful part of our lives. People everywhere who read the journal and see it for the first time are always sending along their thanks to everyone who participates in the collective energy and community of the journal.

May this year hold Love, Peace, Abundance of Life, and New Possibilities for the expression of our truest potential.  LOL and keep TKOSing.

Happy Holidays!
