We made it through an intense Eclipse Season and election last autumn; we made it through the end of the Mayan Calendar, and the transition into a new year 2013. 
  The world has not ended, nor have we birthed a perfect new world. The transformational and healing journey continues, as we are in transition between an old Pisces Age and a new Aquarian Age.

   Even though the intensely powerful November planetary aspects have just passed, we are still in the middle of a huge transformational time period as we enter December, 2012.

   Of course toward the end of December, on the 21st of December, the Mayan Calendar ends, an old world according to Mayan belief terminates and a New World is born.

   Of course, no one really knows for sure what that will mean exactly, as we have no real frame of reference to guide us.  

   But I do know that astrologically we are in the middle of a tremendous transformational period...

September brought us the second of 7 passes of Uranus square Pluto, a most potent combination of transformational planets, which will last until 2016. The reverberations will last for several years afterwards. 
  This is an exciting time to be alive, as we are entering a new consciousness and Age. There was an accelerated blast of transformational energy into the new age back in the ’60s and ’70s. Uranus conjunct Pluto in 1965-66 stimulated that wave of change.

  May through July represented a major spike forward in our transformational journey into an Aquarian Age. The Eclipses, the Venus passage, Uranus square Pluto, and other planetary movements helped to shake up our world, our lives, and our consciousness. That shakeup has helped us to release old patterns and belief systems that were aligned with the programming we have received from a society attached to an old Paradigm and Age.
  Each time we receive the energies and patterns from important planetary movements, as we did this past spring and early summer, we not only are able to release the old toxic energies and patterns; we are also more open to breakthroughs into more healthy and whole bodies, souls, and consciousness.
  The power of transformation is extremely strong now and will be for several more years, as we are in transition between Ages, Paradigms and Worlds.

   June is a quite powerful month, filled with many astrological events.

   As we move into June we are in the middle of the spring Eclipse Season 2012. The first eclipse of two in a row happened on May 20, a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Gemini. The second one is on June 4th. It is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Gemini/Sagittarius.   

   This means that the Sun is in Gemini opposite the Moon in Sagittarius, which makes a Full Moon; and the Earth’s shadow is blocking the light of the Sun from the Moon—forming the eclipse. A Lunar Eclipse is Full Moon with many times more strength than a usual Full Moon.

Winter’s cobwebs are blowing away. Spring 2012 will show us accelerated change, opening portals into Aquarian Age consciousness.

April and May will ignite the flames of transformation that will spread throughout our lives in the spring and summer.

Though the weather has been unusually mild for much of the winter, the inner consciousness landscapes for many have been stormy and harsh. Whether we know it or not, facing those inner demons has prepared us for the coming changes in our lives and the world.
