When you write do you hear angels whispering in your ear?
Do your thoughts flow like silken rivers of words?
Does your pencil dance with punctuations of joy and weep with exclamations of anguish?
No? You're too tired to think, let alone write? And besides, writing is too hard, anyway.
Relax. Breathe. It doesn't have to be hard if you write from your heart.
Ask your angels for help. Thoughts will cascade from a part of you that you have almost forgotten: your Divine Self: the self of your heart.
More fun than writing only from the left brain, no part of you will be left untouched
Recent research shows that writing from the heart strengthens your immune system and helps heal emotional traumas. But it is also a joyous way to celebrate life.
Try this. Go to the most peaceful spot in your home. Light a candle. Play some soft, background music such as "Enhancing Creativity" by Halpern or "Piano Whispers" by Thweatt.
Now lie on your back, on your floor or even on your bed. Place your writing pad next to you.
Close your eyes. Relax. Breathe deeply. Visualize a beautiful golden white ball of light above your head.
Ask your guardian angels to bring the light with its healing rays down over your heart.
See the golden light enter your heart chakra. Feel your heart area glow as though made of amber burning embers.
With each beat of your heart, know that you are loved and that you are love.
When you are ready, lean over to your writing pad or journal and write.
